Post-Wedding Bridal Boudoir

Mr. and Mrs. M came to me just short of a year after their wedding. They had tried to stay frugal during their wedding, and hadn’t splurged on boudoir - but after a few months they took the opportunity to get some extra-special bridal photos taken with ALT!

Bridal Boudoir after the wedding seems backwards - typically, boudoir is considered a gift. Many brides-to-be book boudoir months before their wedding to give their fiancees as a wedding night tease. But post-wedding boudoir has several advantages! The biggest is that we could make this a fun couple’s shoot. By the couple’s request, the shoot primarily focused on Mrs. M, but we got some fantastic photos like this one of the two together:

The two were already comfortable with each other and we were able to capture a fun, flirty energy between the two resulting in a classy photoshoot with images that could equally be displayed proudly among their wedding photos and in their personalized, private boudoir album.

At ALT Boudoir we believe in doing things differently. Most of our shoots involve light and color and shadow, playing with the idea of what boudoir can be. But we also love shoots like this: close to traditional boudoir, but just a little bit different. In this case, just taking wedding photos after the big day brought a whole new atmosphere!
